We launched Volition to improve a badly broken infrastructure.
In 2020, we saw a utility-cost crisis bearing down on communities, with no relief in sight. Hyperscale data centers were draining towns of power, water, and clean air—and siphoning taxpayer dollars to build their corporate 'campuses.' We decided to build the opposite. Based in Provo, Utah, Volition is the nation's leading innovator in Community-Friendly Data Centers.

Our data centers deliver anywhere from 1 to 50 megawatts of power, and we build them fast. Traditional centers wait years just to connect to the electrical grid; we skip that line entirely because we generate our own power on-site. Inside, it's powerful, reliable computing built for the work that can't afford to slow down or go offline. The result: top performance at a competitive price, in a facility small enough to belong in the neighborhood it serves.

We started Volition with a simple aim: minimal impact, maximum community benefit. Power generated on-site without combustion. Water circulated again and again. Emissions already well below every limit, and still falling. But that's only half of it. The rest is what each site returns to the place it calls home: taxes, energy credits, and real support for schools, parks, and public services. In the end, we want to be known for what we give a community, not for what we take from it.
